About The Artwork
Through the Porthole is part of the Storm Series. It has the same intensity as the larger works but on a smaller scale. That was part of the challenge. I really like how this smaller piece brightens up a shelf, a mantle or a narrow wall. It has lots of texture and movement. The closer you get the more there is to see. I wanted to capture a stormy sky, filled with turbulence.
