Oil on wood 80x63x2.5cm (31.5x24.8x1in) 2019, ready to hang. SOLD, private collection, Fiorano Modenese, IT This artwork is the transposition on wood of a vision I had one day at home. I was just back from the summer vacations and I felt, for no reason, empty and alone. I then had the vision of myself surrounded by a big, white void and decided to make a painting of it. I decided to paint the tiny me in a position already used for the ‘Everybody brings a light’ project and add it to the series. I painted “Tiny me” on wood spending long time to make the white background shine as if it was painted with glaze, letting the brush strokes stand out to give an idea of chaos around the figure. “Tiny me” is an oil on wood painting 80x63cm, signed on the back and provided with a unique certificate of authenticity.

In my paintings I focus on figures and their interaction with the landscape and architecture. After spending some years being very faithful to the samples, I am now experimenting different styles of painting and alternating portraits (mainly commissions) with sperimental artworks. Also, I am increasingly taking advantage of image editing softwares in pre-production to find the best colours and lights for the painting. I use oil colours both on wood and linen. All the materials used in the artworks are high quality, from hand primed canvas (by myself, using a classic method that prevents from aging and deterioration) to colours. Some of my paintings are currently part of private collections in Italy and abroad. Awards: 2023 Finalist, Artfinder Creative Contest - Unity Competition, Online. 2017 Mulieribus, 4th edition.
