Spring is here. Colors are plentiful and inspirational. There's a breeze and it's translating to the canvas. This is how I paint - through my emotions and my environment. I hope the viewer will see whimsy and feel joyful and delve deep into the painting. The sides are painted black. It is NOT wired as you might hang it in any direction you choose. You might consider framing this piece using a floating frame, but it isn't necessary. It is finished with Satin Varnish for a slight sheen. It is signed on the back of the canvas. I am an abstract expressionist artist. I paint from raw emotion and release every ounce of my spirit into my creative endeavors. I studied Theater Arts and Design in New York. Painting is a medium that came to me later in my life. I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to express myself through abstraction. It's a delicious treat... sometimes decadent. I love the challenges that are presented as I contemplate new ideas, implement my thoughts and watch them become a reality. in addition, I love listening to guests who visit my studio and purchase my art. Thanks to my clients and collectors - both national and international I was able to fundraise for the Charlotte Arts & Humanities Council of Charlotte County (Florida). It was wonderful to be able to dance and paint for such a great cause and to celebrate the arts community through scholarships for students.
