Because I love to paint repetitive flowers, every now and then it is extremely liberating to just pick up a paintbrush and splash some paint around! These paintings are so much fun to do, so free! Thought has gone into them though. Colour coordination and placement of paint to create balance. I also like to achieve depth.

I am a 44 year old mother of 2 children and have decided it is now my turn in life! My children are getting older so I find there is more time on my hands to explore this painting journey. So far I have discovered I love repetition, flowers and negative space. Originally from England, I emigrated with my husband and kids 8 years ago to Australia. My father always wanted me to do something with my talent, so 6 years ago when he died I used my small inheritance to build a studio. I am having so much fun exploring who I am on canvas!
