Venus is part of the series "L’enfant rouge" = the red kid, a body of works created around myths. Myths have always inspired me, like for example the myth of Icarus who dreams to fly away, of Demeter symbolizing the soil or the story of Little Red Riding Hood. Such stories that can be found in the origin of every civilization inspire me and find an echo in my own history. This work is situated around the world of childhood, an imaginary and playfulness word! In which everything is possible, where the real touches the unreal, where animals can speak and grandmothers have big ears.....
