'Viscular Dimension' painting 2017 worked on over a six month period, starting on the longest UK day, the summer solstice in June, it was finished on the shortest day, the winter solstice in December. initially, during summer months, multiple layers of paint were left to dry outside in the hot summer sun, finally, during winter months, the dried surface skin was cut into, using a razor, standing upright, allowing the underlying paint to bleed out across the surface
