The painting 'Viscular Dimension' was worked on over a six month period of time. Starting on the longest UK day, the summer solstice in June, and was finished on the shortest day, the winter solstice in December.
Multiple layers of paint were left to dry in the hot summer sun. The dried surface skin was then cut into using a razor and stood upright allowing the underlying paint to bleed across the surface. This process was repeated on a daily basis.
