About The Artwork

This original acrylic painting features a woman in a daydreaming state in front of the morning sea. Birds come out of her dress, alluding to the things that happen without us noticing when the mind is elsewhere. The feeling of a missing time and thoughts are fused with the landscape, to strengthen the idea. This painting is part of the series on the transformations and emotions within us.

Overview of the painting

• Woman with birds daydreaming while waiting in front of the blue sea
• Painting Name: “Vuelo Mañanero” (Morning Flight) • Original acrylic painting signed by the artist Pablo Montes O'Neill  • It has 1 1/2″ thick sides/stretcher painted to coordinate with the artwork, so framing is optional, although it would look gorgeous with a proper floating frame. • The canvas art is wired on the back, ready to hang. Certificate of Authenticity provided

*Unframed artwork Please note that the painting is shipped with no frame.

Shipping & Returns

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

I seek to project authentic, intimate interpretations of the world I encounter. As a native of Puerto Rico, I am influenced by the characters, emotions, images, and colors associated with the island. Sometimes I turn to my childhood memories to address the existential questions I want to express. I've recently explored the concepts of time, energy, light, and space through my paintings and drawings. This has led me to work with hybrid subjects and media that can converge figuration with traits of abstraction and surrealism. I use symbolism and distortions to bridge the figures and their environment, creating scenes where surrounding energies and time metaphors serve as the glue of an idea.
