Emerging artist, started seriously 5 years ago,I have always had the need to create.

Other worlds and alternate universes now seem to be under discussion within the sciences, especially with the development of quantum physics, the study of the infinitely small. The idea of these spaces opens up so many possibilities and excites the imagination.

I have a fascination and desire to explore those obscure dimensions, hidden in the unconscious mind by emotion and trauma, and released in dreams and visions. These other worlds that appear in our dreams and nightmares can seem very vibrant and logical places. What is the journey like to get there? How would that landscape appear and how would it feel on entering those unknown places, where the values of accepted reality are no longer true.
The interpretation of these places is explored in experimenting with different materials and discovering process and rhythm. Painting is tempered with texture. The work has a narrative feel intended to slightly unsettle and query our illusion of reality - and to experience the mysterious.
