A tennis net was used as a stencil to create a piece that was inspired by the 50th anniversary of Billie Jean King defeating Bobby Riggs in the Battle of The Sexes tennis match and Billie Jean being a champion of equality. This painting is also about how most of us who choose a sport in our youth do not make it to the professional level, but coming back to sports and moving our bodies as adults help bring us back to center and balance us when life becomes hectic.
