Where the Leaves Meet the Sky Painting

Hi , I am Lucia, an Irish artist living and working in Northern Ireland. I have been making art in some shape or form since early childhood beginning formal art training in textile printing and weaving before devoting all my energy to drawing and painting. I became an Associate of the Ontario College of Art & Design studying Experimental Art in Toronto Canada in the early ‘80s. Tutored by some of Canada’s most distinguished contemporary artists. I began to question traditional fine art methods in favour of challenging new concepts in the creation and experience of art. My artwork became as much about the process as it was about the aesthetics of the finished piece.
