About The Artwork
I visited a nearly 90 year old relative recently in a nursing home and although she is quite lucid, many of the residents didn't know where they were. The single (struttin) magpie represents sorrow (from the nursery rhyme, "One for Sorrow"). Oil is my natural choice for this style of painting
