About The Artwork
I went to Whistable one weekend. It was early afternoon but the sky looked gray and gloomy. The sun's rays were peeking through the clouds but it seemed like the rain was about to fall. As the blue sailboats sat on the beige-colored sand, I could see a vivid contrast between the boats and the background. The blue hulls of the boats stood out clearly against the almost grayish-white skies.
