About The Artwork

This artwork belongs to a series called "Natural Flags", which are landscapes inspired by the work of landscapers, they can also be from trips I have made, or by photographs of places I have seen in magazines, on the internet, reading, listening to music. .. This flag or landscape of more or less abstract shapes has a white background because it represents a sunrise. The artwork shows us two large rocks resting in a field surrounded by vegetation. In front of one of them there is a lamppost. This landscape, inspired by a real one on a day of cleaning the leaves that fell on the ground as if it were snow, looks like a real “normal” landscape. But if we look a little more closely, that large, larger rock is striking, which seems to have a kind of face, like a feline. Behind it is another rock. It seems to me as if it were a train, with the rock of the face as a locomotive head and a rear wagon. Even the lamppost looks like the chimney of the locomotive, being in this case a chimney of light that emits those colored clouds or bushes, between which there is a blue zone, as if the sky were opening up. No frame needed, but recommended before the train leaves.
