About The Artwork
I work on wooden supports with organic material , placed one by one, as a resource for self-expression. I paint on the leaves, the painting sinks and thus I get a three-dimensional effect. I also use acrylic, but I do it exclusively to support the textual spots. “ I could say that I paint my ´´self-moods´´, not ´´self-portraits´´, in them I try to express my state of mind”. `` I paint glances that speak for themselves and others that are hidden by a slab of eyelashes that, sometimes, hide tears and, in other states of unconsciouness or meditation. Definitely We all seek that longed state of peace, concentration and greater self- awareness, that translates as a ´´full attention´´, a state of total self-absorption, without opinion or analysis, so difficult to achieve´´.
