Based on a poem by Erich Fried arose in the past an open series of large format mixed media. "It is what it is" is a statement for pure painting and free to understand painterly expression. Without specifications for the viewer, which should remain free in its interpretation. The observer becomes his own in his individuality and in his autonomy addressed to their own judgment, taken seriously and respected. When he is on his way, shaped by his own experiences sets out and begins to ponder and interpret what he sees, then the viewer appropriates the picture in the sense of the word. In the individual perceptions and interpretations "multiplies" the picture. One and the same person can in the course of time quite well too different results in the consideration, to different Interpretations come. And also the emotional impact of a picture can change, as can changing emotional states and new ones Experiences can change one's view. I take this from the statements of people who are surrounded by my pictures every day. Talking about my pictures often gives me a new perspective on myself my work. It inspires me and gives me new impulses. A dialogue arises that affects my work. This closes a circle between Painter, picture and viewer.
