About The Artwork
Rottnest Island, an island off the coast of Western Australia inspired this painting. It started off as a commission that didn't work out and I then turned it into my own distorted Rottnest, a little fuzzy with some heavy textured strokes. It still incapsulates Rottnest with it's beautiful beaches, white foamy waves, crystal blue water and beautiful vibrant sunsets.

However a common thread of fluidity, movement, beauty, romance, vulnerability, melancholy and intimacy weaves through all of my pieces. I don't like to be constrained by trends. I also do large scale ‘’live’ artworks in front of an audience such as fundraisers. My pieces have sold at auction for various fundraisers such as balls and private enterprises. My mediums vary but predominantly my drawings are charcoal and paintings are oils.
