A fish in the sky - Limited Edition 2 of 10 Photograph

The Palau de les Arts Reina Sofía is one of the building designed by great architect Santiago Calatrava as part of the Ciudad de las Artes y las Ciencias in Valencia, Spain. I was walking through the complex while I realized the Palace had the shape of a fish while a bougainvillea leaned out, all looking like a fish stretching towards the plant to reach and eat it! This photo was shown at The Other Art Fair, Victoria House London, March 30 to April 2nd 2017, giclée print cm 100x150, mounted on foamed black 5mm. Out of over 1000 applications, my work has been selected by a very prestigious committee of art industry experts for the spring edition of The Other Art Fair London: Rebecca Wilson, Chief Curator and Director, Art Advisory at Saatchi Art and formerly a Director at the Saatchi Gallery, London; Kate Bryan, arts broadcaster, writing and presenting television programmes for BBC, Sky Arts and Sky Arte Italia; Lulu Guinness, luxury British accessory brand. This shot was 1 of 26 Honorable Mention at the 10th International Colors Awards in Architecture Category. 6,178 entries were received from 75 countries. The Jury represented the industry's biggest names and tastemakers including Christie's, New York; Contemporary Art Society, London; Sotheby's, Paris; ING Collection, Netherlands; Y&R, Malaysia; Preus Museum, Norway; Art Beatus, Hong Kong; Ogilvy & Mather, Amsterdam; Whitechapel Gallery, London; and J. Walter Thompson, New York. The photo is printed on the attractive and precious Photo Rag Satin Hanemule paper, an acid free archival paper, and it comes with a signed and numbered certificate of authenticity.
