1 column ( H:192 in, W: 60 in, D: 0.5 in ) = 4 panels ( 1 panel: H: 48 in, W: 60 in, D: 0.5 in) The documented bullet holes from this series date back from the time between April 28th and May 2nd, 1945. Located within the former eastern sector of Berlin, the bullet-ridden surfaces have stood virtually untouched for 60 years, except for the occasional sand blasting to remove blackening from coal heating and the more recent graffiti art. The abstract beauty of the blemished surfaces is the theme of Bullet Holes. The art shown in the photograph consists of 4 individual panels, each measuring approx. 48" x 60" x 0.5". The combined panels measure approx. 192" x 60" x 0.5". Mounting technique: The photographic print will be mounted onto a .063" aluminum sheet which will be the backing. A clear or opal sheet of plexiglas will be fused with the top of the print. Only the highest quality archival materials will be used in the process. An aluminum brace will be attached to the back of the panel to allow mounting onto a surface/wall. Mounting options and larger customized sizes upon request. Inquire for pricing and shipping options. Born: 1967, Chandigarh, IndiaProfession: PhotographerResidence: New York CityIn my work I focus on the aesthetic qualities that are found within objects, architectural structures and people. The historical background of these diverse entities creates a common platform. Appearances are shaped and reshaped by significant political and social events. The presented photography projects examine the aspects of layered traces of objects and people. The duality of the process of creation versus destruction composes the theme of my photographs.
