Corinna before the storm Photograph

I took this photograph of Corrina on a wild summer evening back in 2012. We had arranged an evening shoot, but by the time we had driven to the coast, then walked the half mile or so the the right location, the sun had already set and dark clouds were gathering. To create the look I wanted, I had to mount two seperate strobe lights on full size tripods, and place both in the sea in about 12 inches of water. I had to hope that a wave would not knock one over; salt water immediately turns then into expensive electronic junk. By the time we took this shot I was standing in knee deep water and poor Corrina was soaked and freezing. In the end I think it was worth it, and the long walk back to the car in darkness. A girl in a white dress stands in the sea resolutely facing the faces as a storm gathers.
