About The Artwork
MY APPROACH to photography is through the eyes of a painter – a field in which I am formally trained. I use simple hand-held cameras and available light only. DON’T SHOOT ME! (Limited edition of 5) Here is my ‘in your face’ expression of dismay over gun violence. I came across this haunting image in the concrete repair work of a pavement and colored it with layers of blue to match the mood it evoked. Process: Museum-quality archival pigment (giclée) printed on premium Epson Velvet Fine Art paper. This thick and luxurious paper absorbs the pigment inks beautifully to provide color-retention that will last for 100 years or more. Finish: A 2-inch white border is provided on all four sides to allow for framing without a mat. Wider borders are available upon request. Each limited-edition print is signed, dated and numbered.
