About The Artwork
Monalisa Cloviaanni is an artist and a living work of art, she is also homeless and an inhabitant of Greenwich village New York. A slice of pizza, a soda and a short conversation was her price for me to be able to photograph her again. I did also take a full length portrait, but for me this segment better blurs the lines between art and person. Once I missed photographing her when her hands were a gorgeous blue from painting with them, I didn't have my camera with me. I look forward to chatting with her and photographing her again for a slice of pizza.
