The black liquid could be interpreted as a metaphor for the mystery and unknown that flow within each of us. The Venetian mask recalls the play of identities and the role of disguise in human interaction. The velvet choker could be seen as a sign of the constraints and shackles that society imposes on us. From an art historical perspective, one might draw parallels to the dark yet sensual works of the Baroque era. Psychologically, the piece confronts the viewer with questions about identity, desire, and the complex nature of the human psyche.

Shipping & Returns

Delivery Time:Typically 5-7 business days for domestic shipments, 10-14 business days for international shipments.

The focus of ARTURUTRA is mouths. Yet these fragmented bodies do not conform to classical portraits. They often resemble staged still lifes. The works are characterized by a narrative ambiguity. The viewer sees and must fill in the missing elements themselves. Perhaps they view with the eyes constantly absent in the works. Then, the depicted mouths speak with the inner voice of the observer.
