About The Artwork

In Kerala, Southern India, the traditional fishermen have been surviving on the contents of their nets for more than 2000 years. The fishing ritual on the beaches - a rhythmic choreography, the chant that accompanies hauling in the nets - is a pure struggle for daily survival. Edition 4/8
