I am born in Reykjavik Iceland the year 1981. I graduated from the Icelandic Academy of Visual Art with a BA degree in Fine arts in 2007. I am currently living and working in Reykjavik. I run the artist bookstore Útúrdúr with some friends and we are a publication as well and published three titles so far and more on the way. As an artist I work on the thin line between documentary and fine art. I work most with photography, video and text and my work are most of the time set up in a context of a series, a book or an installation. My most recent project I am working on is the Stad Solidar movement in Sweden, a far left movement in Malmö and then I am also focusing on the immigrants and the right wing extremists. There are strange things happening in Sweden, the most liberal and some would say the most andvanced nation in the world. But is the social democratic nation working, is the never ending political correctness doing more harm than good?
