From the series Nocturnes. It depicts our nature (in the netherlands) after sundown. Only existing artificial light is used. The colours of the work are caused by those lights (street lanterns, passing cars, light of sports parks). This way the viewer is encouraged to see and admire nature in an unexpected way.
