Inspired by a patch of moss, this photo depicts a woman decomposing in the forest. She has begun the decomposition, and will become apart of the forest, which is where the idea to use the moss came in.

Tea Laroux (he/him, b. 1997, Natchitoches, Louisiana) is a queer portraiture photographer and conceptual photo artist focused on showcasing transgender and LGBTQ+ stories based in San Diego, CA. He has shown work at Atelier Gallery in Charleston, SC, “Mirror Mirror” Art Show in Ocean Springs, MS, and at the PaperGirlBK Public Art Installation in Coney Island, NY. His work has also been featured in 8 magazines, as well as a cover story for Mob Journal. In 2021, he was selected to participate in Silver Art Project's online residency program, where he was able to share his portraiture and conceptual work relating to his passion for supporting the LGBTQ+ community.
