About The Artwork
This was the first piece of books and magazines that worked by folding and playing which brought the first body of work called The Alex's Books. This was back in 2010. My goal was to capture the beautiful shapes and lines, black and white waves and infinite puzzles. I want to tell/show a visual story by twisting and folding, shooting from different angles, graphical contrast, less interference, whiteness predominance. The other parallel thoughts of the idea are as we embrace more the digital era soon everything will be virtual. So here is my intention to show my art (book sculptures) that starts from another story (the books). With all my respect to every author, publishers, and producers of the originally published materials. Initially, this is a vertical image (as shown) but it can be hung horizontally as well. Images here may be slightly different from the final print. This is a limited edition print on fine art paper (11 of 25), certificate of authenticity will be included. Framing can be arranged and shipped to continental U.S. and overseas (some restrictions may apply), the extra cost will be applied. Please call for details.

As a visual artist, I love to create and explore all mediums. My favorite ones are photography and painting.
