About The Artwork
This piece was shot in Time Square towards the end of 2019. It marks the beginning of my series, Transmissions of Light. "Fluid control of axis, focus, time, & position is continuously shifting to accommodate the complex challenge of manual photography within New York City’s playground of light, Times Square. This image was lit by the waves of phosphorus, neon, and the energy-efficient light-emitting diodes (LED). The resulting photograph creates a textural mapping, a lightwave based blueprint of space & time. The location subtly reveals itself through hints of landmarks, morphed logos or typeface, and elements of human abstraction. Variations of lights, wattages, and efficiencies of the city’s nightlife bring a proprietary pallet of colors and textural marks that interlace within the compositions. As an antithesis to AI; I have found my power through the intentional use of manual choices. The action of being in the moment captures the slight nature of heart no computer can generate. As I walk with my camera in a sea of all cultures, I become one with the Infinitum." This was also the main image behind my 2nd fractional GXF blockchain NFT series. In 2019, she began the journey into cryptoart, tokenizing & selling digital verified artworks through Ethereum blockchain on curated sites like SuperRare & Known Origin. My life's work of art has been observing & translating all pieces of physical life organizing it into my visual existence.
