Treasure Islands Photograph - Limited Edition of 1

For thirty five years now I have been creating and developing, I believe, one of the most intriguing, natural and beautiful art forms ever to be discovered on our planet. This art form was discovered not only by accident but because of an accident. This amazing art is created by manipulating tiny crystals dissolved in solution as they grow and develop. In the 1970s I found it was possible to create strange alien landscapes graced with animal and plantlike features. They are grown on glass and with the use of fine brushes and small tools the growing crystals are coerced into forming a vast range of formations. Although this art is painstaking and somewhat tedious, the end results are extremely rewarding and speak for themselves. The finished miniature art creations are a translucent silver/white in colour. It was also necessary for me to develop a lighting and colouring process to further enhance the finished crystal paintings own natural beauty. Lit from behind and with the use of colour filters, any desired colour or colour combination can be chosen. The final step is the taking of a very high quality photograph suitable for enlargement and reproduced on archival paper guaranteed to last for three hundred years. This art is original and conventional and was created long before the advent of computers.
