Shadow in gold Photography - of Greek φως phos (“light”), and γραφις graphis (“drawing”) or γραφη graph, which together mean something like “drawing with light”. The root of word photography , already was told that this kind of two-dimensional visual representations is based on the presence of light, as understood in physics (the “objective”) and realized (“written”) in a way that it allows techniques. Flush the presence and absence of light, through a chemical process, creates a black and white photo as we read through the relationships of light and shadow. The main purpose of the shadows in the visual representation involves the actual existence of something which stands out from the general area, which means it is three dimensional. This means that photos are prescribed three-dimensional shapes in a two dimensional representation. Changing the position of shadows in the picture, turning them into a symbolic light, a shadow has turned into a gold surface, a completely new experience what illusion of photography is. This photo experimental procedure approaches the visual concept of images to visibility of Byzantine icons and different perception of reality, where the light is understood in a symbolic way through the implementation of the gold surface. This kind of intervention is intended to turn a photo into “something else”. Procedure was initiated primarily to test the possibilities and reasons for the existence of visual representation in the representative period “after photography”. This group of photos is part of a larger investigation, with the same goal, which succeeded in its singularity to become independent as a separate unit, readable enough to be autonomous. Works in this series, at observer, in his representation, reinforcing the reality of transferring to another level that is no longer just an objective.. This is a picture, and still attached to its representational intention, apparently composed of two incompatible types of light, an objective and symbolic. The result is a hybrid obtained by visual representation, which is now far from its photographic origin and and which is now becoming something that was not before.

What I’m most interested in my work is to make the images, more precisely, their ability of representation, relationship and connection with the tradition, reasons for being, conceptualization, form... I work in many different media. That opens up a greater scope of possible experiments where potential overlaps from one form to another. What I want to achieve a new understanding of the possibility of representation by images imbued with the legacy of our past traditions of art.
