About The Artwork
Variation on the “Vanitas” theme, a genre of still-life painting flourished in the 16th and 17th centuries, which evoked the transience and vanity of earthly achievements and the inevitability of death. The set has been painted with light in order to achieve this directional, intentional lighting. The flames are both captured in camera and digitally painted on the photograph. Limited edition 1 of 8 (+1 AP) Original Edition Giclée Print on Hahnemühle Paper Printed with a 5 cm white border. Signed certificate of authenticity included. Since each limited edition print is made to order, the estimated production time (delivery excluded) can be up to 15 working days.
