the wide open - Limited Edition of 5 Photograph

The series NOT CHAOS-LIKE deals with human beings, their dreams and their works. It talks about what these will never be and what they will never stop being. With the continuous metamorphosis between container and content as a background, we are presented with scenes of random anonymous human works which are about to become integrated into the natural environment they once tried to be separated from. We can observe how the actions of chance, chaos or simply other post-creators have decided a new destiny for them, far from the purpose with which they were once created. They show projects whose hope for transcendence was cut short by time, finally becoming something so far from the author's intention that their original goal vanished into the past as an inalienable but unreachable dream, a venture finished the moment it started. Every image contains an inevitable absence: that of the author and his plan. There only remains a faint halo, a blot, a surviving remnant which avoided complete extinction just by letting nature and time make something different from it, even if it was grotesquely away from its fate. This series is made up by 105 images. It is a collection of little broken dreams gathered during the last five years, mainly in Spain, Germany and Eastern Europe.
