(55.88 x 43.18 cm.) Edition of 85 Joseph of Arimathea was, according to all four canonical Gospels, the man who donated his own prepared tomb for the burial of Jesus after Jesus' crucifixion. Joseph risked his reputation and his life by standing up for Jesus... as his faith far outweighed his fear This artwork symbolizes both the gift of the tomb and the beginning of the trinity

I am an American Artist working as a Painter and Printmaker. My background encompasses a career in both the fine arts and graphic arts. Combining these with my love of Fine Art Prints, I view printmaking as an opportunity to create works on paper that truly reflect my personal vision as an artist. In my approach I integrate imagery and simple use of color with white space, creating an artful sense of immediacy --- And using an abstract style I strive for a humanly poetic quality, and always a personal truth. My process is not unlike the traditional one used historically by all Printmakers of Limited Edition Prints. Considered a collaboration between the artist and often a master printer/technician, together they produce a limited piece of art of the highest quality. And today that technician’s skill set may also incorporate the power of technology. One thing of importance to note about a traditional Limited Edition Print: The only ‘original artwork’ produced is in the totality of the final Print; which must be inscribed with the Artist’s signature and edition number and the Printer’s embossed chop mark . . . Last thought --- as the person who wears all of these hats: the designer, painter, technology specialist and printer --- it is wonderful to be sharing these prints on Saatchi.
