About The Artwork
"As the deer pants for the water brooks so my soul longs for you O'God" is taken from Psalm 42. The brook in this particularly etching runs from Hindwell Farm in Mid-Wales. The hind is a female deer and the pond at Hindwell Farm is a natural spring. The etching is hand printed by the artist in a limited edition of 30. It is part of a series of work and exhibitions done with the poet David Lewis to explore and celebrate the landscape that William Wordsworth visited in 1812.

Born in 1970 Alistair Tucker lives on the Wirral, UK. Alistair's work is based upon the British landscape; its shape and form and the effects of the weather and light upon it. He describes the landscape as always changing depending upon the weather or the season.
