About The Artwork

The many viewpoints of our consciousness. Our scattered perception of the world around us builds our personal scenery. Far from being desperate at not grabbing the whole picture, I find a kind of unity made of rhythm and colors. After hand-drawing hundreds of patterns, I introduce contingency in the composition through the use of computer. I write my own code (in Java) adding randomness at each step of the composition. From the digital file to the printed work is yet an other step. I have experienced many kinds of printing techniques. For this piece I have selected digital printing on paper (Hahnemühle German Etching 310g) with Ultra Chrome Pro inks which give a stunning and durable result. I have printed a small edition of 5.
