About The Artwork
Broken image of the statue of liberty, composed of several ceramic plates. Piece was made using technique of printing in clay invented by myself. This special technique allows multiplication of engraved linear drawing and print on ceramics. Every piece is burned two times on the high temperature (1100 C) and it is made to last 5000 years.

Veljko Zejak (1980) makes sculptures in different materials and techniques and uses other media like printmaking, video and sound. Since 2001 he develop inovative technique of printing in clay. His art work is characterized by relation to social tensions and social responsibility. He develops collaborative projects,often insisting on working with vulnerable groups.Veljko lives and work in Ljubljana and Belgrade. For his work he has received numerous awards and grants.
