"It talks about the South if Italy, called Meridione. That could be any southern country in the world. It talks about my roots and their brightness in life, about the struggling balance between attachment to personal freedom and moral idealism" "Meridione means south, the south of the world, the place of the sun, the place of the moon, the place were stars look more bright, and the morning seems more night... south is the place where people makes mistake, because there is no other way out, apparently. South is talking to strangers, suth is sitting on the bench for hours, south is love for a life in which tears and smiles get together. South is hope and melancholia, day dreaming through the crude reality. South is being frank with each others, living today like there is no tomorrow" Laser print, oil pastels, acrylics, liquid ink pens, pencil on paper Original Monotype Fabio Coruzzi has exhibited at galleries, museums, art fairs around the world. he is represented by galleries in USA, UK, Italy

THE INFORMAL GRAFFITI PROJECT "Informal Graffiti is a tiny drawing on the blank surface of my artistic universe. My graffiti is informal because does not follow the media, the format, the scale or the intention of traditional graffiti art. Informal graffiti is an attempt to use intellectual and material fragments of the hyper consumption culture (credit cards , aluminum cans, old pieces of wood, dirty old paper, etc) in order to decontextualize the traditional relationship between the viewer and the message. I look at Arte Povera philosophy as cultural inspiration , because it is the only art movement that challenged the establishment in terms of art, politics, economy, culture. Arte Povera’s ideas boost my sense of engagement to the surrounding world, where art practice becomes the main way to rebel, to disagree, to criticize, to reimagine, to reinvent. I reject the idea of using art to create social media phenomenons, because I personally make some art to survive and not to entertain" Fabio Coruzzi exhibited at galleries, museums and art fairs around the world. He is represented by American and European galleries
