In a completely digitized world, transformation take place - back to it’s analogue origins. Vintage musical instruments go silkscreen printing technique. Handcrafted precision, attention to detail meets traces of coincidence. Pioneers of electronic music and iconic electromechanical instruments that have written music history screen printed on wood, canvas or paper. Minimalistic and stylish, combined with lines of text that somehow don't quite fit – but manifest the everlasting love of music and art. Hand pulled unique screenprints by the artist, inspired by pop art masters and music of the future - the music of the past. Vintage music instruments come analogue - still with a soul. They come from my own collection and I used to play all of them. Now I transferred them into a series of vintage instruments screenprints. Convincing through a clear design language. Reduced to the essential. The motive is printed on handmade straw paper, 71x103cm, in black silkscreen printing colour, the text is in a darkish red, shining through the black motive print. On the handmade straw paper, the original wood texture still remains visible. Unique copy out of a series of 3 unique screenprints. Both, the motive itself as well as the rich colour and paper texture give the print an authentic vintage character.
