Inspired by stanzas from ancient yogic scripture, the Shrimad Bhagavata, found as one of the eighteen great Puranas (stories) in Hindu yogic tradition. Sorí tells us: “I read these ancient scriptural poems during a year retreat in an ashram in India and knew I had so much to learn from them. I carried these beautiful metaphysical stanzas in my wallet thinking that one day I would translate them into Spanish to share their teachings with many. Six years later, after reading the poems, again and again, 8 images were spontaneously drawn onto the lithographic stone. I was in awe. I never expected this type of translation!” Later including these stanzas, a suite of eight unique lithographs was brought together to create Sori’s unique portfolio entitled, "The Eleventh Book of the Shrimad Bhagavata."
