About The Artwork

African doll from the Fulani tribe. His hat is hand woven from pine needles with polymer clay accents. His face hands and feet are made from bisque fired clay. His body and clothes are made of cloth. This doll has a lot of personality and character. I was inspired to make this doll from pictures I saw in the National Geographic. I found this tribe very interesting and love the Fulani hats that the men wear.
