About The Artwork

“Ancient, alien, stellar, navigation maps” is my original idea. I’ve been developing in the past 15 years. The origins are inspired by/from Carl Sagan book “contact” I’m also using my passion for linguistics to create undeciphered scripts presumably made by aliens, 5000 years ago and accidentally those maps were left at the first city on this planet in Mesopotamia the great walled city of Ur. Discovered in 1950s by archaeologists maps were stolen, smuggle to New York City and now available for sale from Andrey #Bogoslowsky, directly. Every alien stellar navigation map is one-of-a-kind, consisting of original symbols based on cosmology, astrophysics, astrobiology, navigation, anthropology. All the religions on planet earth contributed to spiritual appeal of those symbols of “unknown”. I want to bring a feeling of “encyclopedia Galactica” in those little forms of art. I’m planning to develop my symbolism for the rest of my life, and as you know, there will be no day I will retire. I will literally die with a paintbrush in my hand. But not like Schopenhauer. 🥹

My style: As an artist in the style of expressionism, I have gazed upon the profound power of a brushstroke, or any other painting tool. These past two decades have revealed to me that the decision to apply a specific hue, the width of the brush, and the angle of the stroke all manifest themselves in the ultimate expression of the artwork. In the throes of these decisions, there exist two choices: to whisk the brush with great haste or to guide it slowly and steadily. The latter of these options has illuminated for me that the slow and steady stroke breeds a more formidable expression. By seizing the time to relish in the process of creation, the artwork becomes an organic and spiritual experience. While the audience may perceive my pieces as having been composed with alacrity, in truth, I spend an arduous amount of time weaving my brush with an intense and thoughtful poise. It is not unusual for years to elapse before I make the next decision about color choices or any changes to my artwork. I would like to underscore that even the grandest and most momentous paintings of our civilization, the likes of which were crafted by Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo, required an abundance of years to complete and were frequently misunderstood by their contemporaries. I surmise that the might of a brushstroke lies in the artist's capacity to infuse their artwork with a sense of intention, purpose, and patience.
