"Blue Sky Birch" My first work of 2019 this piece is a panoramic view of birch trees set against a blue teal sky with autumn leaves. I created each tree from pine wood by drawing out the shape on 2x4's I then saw, grind ,and form into their organic shape. Gesso and acrylic paint are then added. The backing board is stained teal blue and treated with polyurethane. The tree leaves are all cut pieces of wood painted and glued into place. This piece has all hanging hardware added
