About The Artwork
Ive seen the original in a museum, was it in Cairo, London, Rome, can't remember. It's part of an Egyptian collection, a small statue made in the Ptolemaic Dynasty, 305 to 30 BC. It probably represents a protector of fertility and male strength. Back then, the penis exagerated size was not related to sexual tittilation. Pryapus, the Greek God of Fertility speaks of that as well.
