About The Artwork
I wanted to make a realistic basketball out of paint but then I thought it looked better in pieces. I then wanted to package the pieces as to give the art perceived value. I think of; Jeff Koons being a stock broker, Fontana’s ripped canvases, Manzoni packaged his own feces, and Warhol’s car crash screen prints. It is a humorous critique of the one percent of the art world.
