The French Queen Marie Antoinette appears without a head, after the decapitation, with a hand-made 17th century style dress. The mannequin appears headless but standing erect, exactly as the ruler appeared during the trial in October 1793 before the decapitation. The succinct dress recalls the different extramarital relations of the queen, who during the trial was even accused of incest. The dress has been entirely hand-embroidered on indications of vintage images. The socks so called "parigine" are a reference to the French throne of the Austrian woman. The top of the dress appears completely covered while the bottom opens with a vintage panier, partly transparent and open where you can see a merkin. The intimate wig is a clear reference to the custom of the age to wear hairs.
