About The Artwork
Stags head made from mild steel hung upon a green oak shield, hand made steel bar frame with welded sheet metal on top. The inspiration for this design was actually two giant horse head sculptures in Scotland (designed by Andy Scott) called 'The Kelpies', this gave me the idea of welding many different shaped parts of sheet metal onto the frame. All of the outside has been completely ground off and powder coated in a clear lacquer, this is to stop the piece from rusting and give it a modern silver look.
