This is an archival print which is then professionally mounted onto a 3cm deep acrylic tile, giving the work an added dimension. It can be displayed on a shelf, on a desk or any surface without you having to find wall space. As its title suggests, this piece references ideas about whether it is possible for minds and souls to meet, coming together in a universal collective consciousness. Multiple processes were used to create this image, including screenprinting onto clear plastic sheets, drawing, moulding, and photography. This image was created without the use of digital retouching. Only colour and tonal vales were adjusted minimally.

Mona Choo is a multi-disciplinary artist whose work is driven by her long-term research into the topic of consciousness. Her scientific and metaphysical interest in the subject have led to an unusual approach to her work, where theories of quantum mechanics and multi-dimensions, sacred geometry and plenty of self-reflection come together to inform much of her practice. Choosing to focus on her creative process without a clear end- product in sight is often how Mona embarks on new work. This liberates her from any attachment to an outcome and instead, allows her to freely experiment with combining techniques and exploring materials with the aim of achieving the most affective way for the audience to experience the concept. Mona holds a Masters in Art & Science from Central St Martins, UK. She was awarded the International Print Artist-in-Residence at the Victoria & Albert Museum, UK, in 2009. Her work is in private and corporate collections in Europe, the USA, Asia and Australia, and in the permanent collection of the Singapore Art Museum. She has exhibited widely in the UK, USA, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Australia. She was a finalist for the 2018 national Tom Bass Prize for Figurative Sculpture in Australia. In 2021, Mona completed an artist residency at Tanglin Trust International School where she created a 4m wide site-specific installation, and sold out of her sculptures in a group exhibition in Singapore titled The Call of the Sea.
