About The Artwork

The artwork is based on the future of humanity and the impediments that suffers any development. The piece is made by wood, representing the basic material in the beginnings of human constructions. The green colours paint that covers it , represents the ecological costs that progress demands. Green is fused with metallic gray, which represents the metals of the machines. The container in the head ( primitive use ) contains fluorescent material that glows in the dark; This represents the strength and ability that mankind has in his brain to illuminate and clarify the mysteries of the universe. Its gentle inclination represents the problems that progress ( any of them ) entails. Its shape, not perfect and abnormal , represents the current position of humanity that has not yet found perfection. The only eye that has is a reflection of the current human capacity. The writing in the base is in Greek language, and speaks of the fusion between man and his own creatures: the machines. The piece is a man, but represents all humanity at this period. Humans have the capacity to be Gods.
