About The Artwork

The monolithic, semi-abstract sculptures descend from a fascination with the geological processes that have shaped the earth in millions of years in relation to the way people have added symbolic value to their surroundings. We try to realise the sense of Earth’s origination by adopting a long and slow process of adding and reducing layers of pigmented plaster to come to a sensitive, soft, polished surface.
