About The Artwork
My interest in people on the move in todays world: A society on the move. Material and Technique: stainless steel, coloured through heat (oxidation), wire, one techniqueTourists, migrants and pilgrims, people on the go of which some are more apparent than others. However, my particular interest here lies within the group of migrants who fall into the categroy of those who live without prosperity. These people are driven on in the hope of finding a better life in a prosperous country. Many make this long journey and never really accomplish their goal.

Whatever else, I am particularly interested in those groups of immigrants who fall into the category of people who live without means. These people are laden with the hope of finding a better life in a prosperous country. Many make this long sea crossing, never achieving what they thought their journey would bring them.
